のほほん村 ...an oasis for you.
Welcome
"Nohohon Village", the village which few people knew
existed, was put
on view to the general public in 2004. Since then, the village mayor
RISAKU has been fighting against entangled yarn,
taking photos in
parks feeling passengers' suspicious eyes and sitting in front of the
computer shaking her analogue head to conduct village
affairs.
のほほん村へようこそ！
長年ごく一部の人にしか存在が知られていなかったこの村が一般に公開されたのは2004年のこと。以来、村長のRISAKUは
絡まる毛糸と
格闘し、公園で通りすぎる人に訝られながら撮影を敢行し、アナログ頭を振り乱してパソコンに向かいながら、村の運営をしてきました。
In
2005 and 2006, the village mayor held private exhibitions "Nohohon
Village Picnic Days" at Sptnik Cafe in Hiroo, Tokyo and the fact that
there were many unique naming ideas for the new village
people deeply impressed all of us. We still use those names
and are always thankful for the guests.
2005年、2006年には東京・広尾のSputnik
Cafeにて個展「のほほん村の行楽日和」を開催し、その際には、新住人に対し多くのお客様よりユニークな命名案を頂戴し一同感激しました。それらの名前
は現在もありがたく使わせていただいています。
This village was founded under a slogan "We'll
make it world- famous", but because both the mayor and the
people love to lead easy lives, we still haven't conquered the world.
However, we hope to make it an oasis for your heart as ever, so
whenever you feel tired and need to relax,
you can visit here to play with us.
「目指せ、世界ののほほん村！」を合言葉に開村したものの、村長も住人ものほほん好きなため、いまだに世界制覇
にはいたっておりません。ですが、皆さまの心のオアシスになりたい思いは変わりませんので、疲れたりくつろぎたくなったときはいつでも遊びにいらして
ください。Now then, please enjoy your village tour with the naughty people.
